Arghhh!
Today I have been demonstrating essential techniques in biochemistry to second year undergrads. They are so annoying though. I try and help them but some of them are so fuckwitted it's unbelievable. The practical starts by telling all the students what they should do and how/when to do it. They then sit at their benches and look blank so I and all the other demonstrators go round to the individual groups and explain again. Then go around again and check they are doing something. It's so unbelievably tedious. And this goes on all day. And I have another month of this to do. I must have been very bad in a previous life.

Not all, you are quite lovely. I only have a grievance against wilfully stupid and lazy biochemists in practical classes. They don't seem to realise that if they just get on with it they can leave 2 hours early and go to the pub or something more interesting.
